Hi Darlings & Fashion Lovers!!!
For those of you who haven’t heard yet, today is going to be the first day of The Rabbit Hole UAE (Zayed University Edition) Event!!!
One of the founders and one of my dear friends Mia Al Maktoum has asked me to be one of the judges and I”m SO honored and excited!!!
The Rabbit Hole is a very innovative and exciting event which is to help encourage young aspiring designers to make their own designs come to life. They were one of the winners of StartUp DXB and The Khalifa Fund Prize! They have also partnered up with ThinkUp GCC
★Rabbit Hole Team Members★ Mia Al Maktoum, Hessa Al Amri, Salma Al Hussaini, Maitha Belhab, Mohammad Al Banna, Nour Al Harmoodi, Maryam Al Mansoori, Mashaykh Al Rkhaimi, Aisha Al Hamrani, and Sara Al Madani.
They have invited all Zayed University students to attend the two mini events which will consist of a variety of competitions. The first one will be a “Runway Fashion show” in collaboration with DAS Collections which will consist of 7 teams all of which are Zayed university students. The winning team will have their designs created by DAS.
The 2nd competition, “Cinderella’s Missing Shoe” will give all students the chance to design their own pair of shoes and the winner will have their very own design created and sold Meem’s Shoe Boutique.
“It’s about time we make the GCC “the Producers” of of our future rather than just “the Consumers” and the Rabbit Hole UAE is aiming to provide a platform for the youth to do just that.” Mia Al Maktoum
There will also be a wide variety of activities such as the official Rabbit Hole stand where the founders and team members of The Rabbit Hole will be present to speak about their initiative and future plans. Mia shared a few secrets with me but I can’t share them just yet but stay tuned and you’ll find out! 
Huda Kattan, (my sister) Hollywood trained makeup artist of www.hudabeauty.com will be giving tutorials and makeup tips. There will also be a fun photo booth, 360 Bar, and a cartoon caricature artist.

The event is currently exclusive for Zayed University Students and Media but they will be hosting mini-events across Dubai soon! Show your support for local talent and business and spread the word!!! The judging for the winners will take place on Wednesday and I’ll be posting the results!
