This year they will bringing some AMAZING artists including The Kooks, Tony Allen, De La Soul, In Transit & Rachid Taha to name a few!
Friday, April 20th is the kick off! The Festival will start off with De La Soul and the night will continue with Rachid Taha, In Transit Noush Like Sploosh and Heinz Kahler!
On Saturday you will get to see The Kooks, Shaair+Func, Tony Allen Black Series & Hamdan Al Abri!!
Over the past six years the Chill Out Festival has hosted a diverse range of artists in Dubai ranging from grammy winning pop artists to up and coming international and local acts. Some of the past highlights include neo-soul diva Erykah Badu, Royksopp, Thievery Corporation, Kruder and Dorphmeister, Stephane Pompognac, Jalebee Cartel, Cinematic Orchestra, Cobblestone Jazz, Hot Chip, Talvin Singh, Sphongle, REG Project, Matthew Herbert, Mark Farina and Jazzanova.
2012 also marks a split in the programming of the Chill Out Festival – with live bands playing from 4pm to 11pm at Media City Amphitheatre and DJs and electronic artists Protoje, Magnetic Man and Moodyman playing from 11pm to 3am at Club Trilogy in Souk Madinat Jumeirah. Chill Out ticket holders will receive free entry into Trilogy and additional tickets will be available on the door.
